Ernst Sigfrid Pettersson (1880-1918) born in Linköping (Sweden). He changes his name for unknown reasons around 1895 in Sandau. Around 1805 he leaves for Berlin. He gets a training as a photographer and opens his own studio around 1908 as court photographer. The studio is located on Unter den Linden 19 and later at number 41. On this last address also works Tita Binz. The son of Ernst, Ernst Jr., is also active as a photographer and focuses on fashion. Like Tita Binz, Ernst Jr. gets work orders of Ross Verlag who later changed there name to Film-Foto-Verlag. In this post are his photographs of Knight Cross Holders included.
